First Impressions is a worldwide network of image consultants trained and supported by a head office based in Milton Keynes. Founded in 1984, First Impressions is now well known for the professionalism and high standards of all its activities and those of its consultants. First Impressions’ success is founded on recognising the importance to consultants of having the independence to run their businesses they way they want, yet also having a strong system of support available. Connect’ Newsletter

Our bi-monthly in-house newsletter ‘Connect’ is a valuable point of contact for all consultants and anyone can contribute to it. It keeps everyone in touch – consultants, head office, outside organisations etc and includes industry news, fashion etc.

Regional and National Meetings

A lively programme of Regional Meetings is offered each year, with a variety of topics related to our business. Two ‘levels’ of meeting are offered, some for less experienced consultants and some for more experienced consultants. Whether a consultant is newly trained or an old hand, there should always be something stimulating and challenging to learn about. Our annual National Meeting is an opportunity for all consultants to get together. In addition to a varied programme, it provides a chance for exchange of news, views and experiences between consultants and some very active networking!


Part 1 : Certification as a Colour and Image Consultant
Duration : 6 days
Last intake : 21st Jan to 26th Jan 2010
Next intake : : April/May 2010
Fee : Includes a set of start-up kit consisting of a swatch board, a colour chart, 90 pcs of colour drapes, a full set of First Impressions cosmetics and all other training materials from First Impressions, UK
Subjects : Colour Theory, Colour Analysis, Figure Analysis and Style for men and women, Wardrobe Management, Make-Up, Hairstyling and Presentation skills.

After the training : As a franchisee, you will be able to train in these areas at a personal or corporate level. For personal consultations, you will be able to help your clients package their style, skills and identity and show them how to brand themselves or even reinvent themselves. On a corporate level, you will be able help organisations improve their brand value and train their employees on how to project a more professional image.

Part 2 : Certification as an Etiquette Consultant
Duration : 6 days
Last Intake : 4th Feb to 9th Feb 2010
Next intake : April/May 2010
Fee : Includes all training materials
Subjects : Deportment, Social Graces, Business Etiquette, Dining Etiquette, Principles of Professional Behaviour including Telephone Etiquette, Body Language and Presentation Skills.

After the training : You will be able to help individuals enhance their confidence level and self-esteem; project poise and charisma socially or at work and help organisations increase their customer service standards by training their employees in these skills.
